Middle Tennessee Rockhounds
Member Email List

	Goals: Help facilitate communications among the members of the Middle Tennessee Rockhounds. Provide club and hobby related announcements to all members on the email list. Provide any member wishing to participate, an easy method to join in all group discussions.
	Guidelines: No flaming, profanity, abusive language, spamming, hoaxes, chain letters, or copyrighted material. Include a meaningful subject line with every message. Submit message posts as plain text only.  Do not include HTML formatted messages, graphics, binaries, email attachments, or other items needing translating. The email list is to be used for only club or rockhounding related information. The email list is dedicated to the education and the sharing of information about rockhounding and the Middle Tennessee Rockhounds. Posts not limited to, but including field trips, shows, member news, questions and answers, tips, techniques, hints, help and other related information are appropriate and encouraged. When responding to a message, decide for yourself if your response should be sent directly to the individual as an off-list, private email, or if it's of interest to the group at large. Members wanting to post hobby related items to buy or for sale are encouraged to use the email list, but the email list is not to be used for abusive, or excessive advertising.  Since we a non-profit organization, any commercial use should be limited to brief and infrequent use. Email list members not conforming to the guidelines are subject to being removed from the list at anytime for the benefit of the group. These guidelines may be changed at anytime by the Middle Tennessee Rockhounds.
	Details: Messages posted on the email list are the opinion and expressions of the individuals posting the messages and not of the Middle Tennessee Rockhounds, a non-profit educational group. Private, non-list email among the members is not regulated in any way by the Middle Tennessee Rockhounds. There are no additional costs to the club members to be a member of the email list. This is a private email list, only members of the email list can send and receive messages to and from the list.  You should assume anyone may read any message that you send to the group. This is an unmoderated email list.  When any member posts a message, it will automatically be sent to all members. This is a restricted email list, only email list join requests approved by the moderator can become a member. Only members of the Middle Tennessee Rockhounds are members of the email list. Personal settings allow all messages for a day to be included in a digest and only sent once for the day.  Personal settings also allow receiving all messages as they are sent.  This minimizes delays and allows for a more interactive discussion.
